Interaction Law between Natural Fractures-Vugs and Acid-Etched Fracture during Steering Acid Fracturing in Carbonate Reservoirs

Steering acid fracturing is a technique that improves the conductivity of carbonate reservoir. It widely used in However, due to lack comparative experiments, application steering improve results still unknown. Therefore, series true triaxial experiments were conducted study The specimens experiment from Qixia group and Dengsi Member Sichuan, China. In this study, slick water, cross-linked gel, self-generating as ahead fluid cooperate with acid. Experimental show (1) low-viscosity can result more complex fractures; (2) complexity fractures influenced by natural fracture viscosity fluid; (3) based on 3D scanning surface, different fluids will lead corrosion results. This provides useful suggestions design physical simulation experiments.
